Vessel operations run on paper: certificates, surveys, manuals, and forms, with different layouts from every yard, registry, and manufacturer, and all of it transcribed by hand into operational systems. Slow, error-prone, and it doesn't scale with a fleet.
Constraints
- Production from day one. Real operations teams depend on the output; there is no research-mode grace period.
- Multi-tenant. Every customer's documents and extractions must be isolated; one schema error can never leak across tenants.
- One engineer. Architecture, extraction pipeline, frontend, deploys, and support: the system has to be operable by the person who built it.
